Welcome to JournalToSuccess.com! If you're new to this site, we have a Daily Food, Activity, and Weight Journal available for our visitors to use for FREE! For those who follow a diet program which advocates keeping track of what you eat and how much you exercise, this online food journal will take the place of the paper food journal you likely receive each week at your meeting.

In the Daily Food Journal, you will be able to record, each day in a new journal, the foods you eat and the pValues associated with that food. You may read more about the system by logging in as a guest user for the journal and reading the documentation contained within the food, weight, and activity journals. The journals follow a new pValueFlex system in which you are allocated x number of pValues for each day and x number of FlexVals for the week. By recording what you eat and the number of pVals for each food item, you will be able to manage your weight loss efforts more effectively.

In addition, the Weight Tracker Journal will allow you to record your weekly weights and see your weight loss progress in graph form! It's simple, fast, and convenient! And, finally, there is an Activity Journal available to record your daily exercise and fitness activities. It will calculate the calories you've burned and tell you how many stars you've earned. Stars are not a part of any weight loss program but are just a fun way to help you stay motivated with your exercise and help you keep track of your fitness progress over time.

These three journals all work together and, when you sign up, you will have access to all three. They are intended to be a complete set of tools to help you better manage your weight loss efforts. You must sign up for an account to use the journal. This will allow you complete privacy in posting your journal, as you will be the only person who may view, edit, or delete your journals.

Want to see what it's about before signing up? Log in with a username of guest and a password of guest. You may play around but please don't begin your journal as "guest". One, that would allow all visitors to view your journals and, two, the "guest" journals will be deleted on a regular basis.

We also have other tools and resources you may find helpful in your weight loss journey. There are tools and calculators where you can calculate your ideal body weight, your body mass index, or even how many calories it takes to maintain your weight at its current level. Additionally, we have fitness articles to help educate and motivate you and a fairly extensive resource links directory to direct you to other websites focused on weight loss, dieting, fitness and exercise, nutrition, and weight watchers members, among other weight related issues. We have a recipe database where our users can add their favorite low fat recipes or find a new recipe to try at home. On the subject of recipes, don't forget to swing by our discussion forums and visit the recipe forum there. There are lots of great low fat / low calorie recipes found there, as well.
